SHIPPING, RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
The following sets out the shipping, return and refund policies that apply to purchasers who make purchases at the ThuyaNYC.com website (http://ThuyaNYC.com). If you have any questions, please contact Thuya NYC LLC customer service at support@ThuyaNYC.com.
Options and Costs
The following shipping options are offered. At checkout, purchasers will be asked to select a shipping method.
UPS (United Parcel Service)
UPS Next Day Air Saver: $39.95 (Next Business Day Delivery);
UPS 2nd Day Air: $29.95 (Delivery Within Two Business Days To Every Address Throughout The Continental United States And Puerto Rico);
UPS 3 Day Select: $19.95 (Delivery Within Three Business Days); and
UPS Ground Shipping: $14.95 (Delivery Within One-Five Business Days).
USPS (United States Postal Service)
Priority Mail USPS: $12.95 (One-Three Business Days); and First Class Shipping USPS: $6.95 (Three-Five Business Days).
Message from USPS: due to limited transportation availability as a result of nationwide COVID-19 impacts, package delivery times may be extended.
Suspension of Service Guarantee from UPS: effective March 26, 2020 and until further notice, UPS has suspended the UPS Service Guarantee for all shipments from any origin to any destination. For all US origin shipments, the Service Guarantee suspension became effective as of March 24, 2020.
International customers: the shipping of an item may be subject to certain import taxes and duties. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to pay these fees. Please ensure to check with your local customs office prior to placing any orders, as these fees and costs may be significant, and Thuya NYC LLC is unable to calculate these fees and costs.
All orders received Monday through Saturday will be fulfilled in 24-48 hours. Once your order has been processed, and is ready for shipment, you will receive tracking information you can use to track your order. At that point, as further described below, you will have to contact USPS or UPS directly if you have any issues with your package.
By making purchases at the ThuyaNYC.com website, purchasers expressly release Thuya NYC LLC from any liability in connection with any damage or loss, including if the items are actually lost, that may be sustained once the items are shipped. Items are deemed shipped when tracking information is assigned to the item by USPS or UPS. Once that tracking information is assigned to the item, Thuya NYC LLC is not able to modify, in any way, the address that the purchaser had provided.
If shipping information provided by the purchaser is incorrect, incomplete or otherwise erroneous, however slightly, purchasers expressly release Thuya NYC LLC from any lost or otherwise unarrived packages.
Orders may be tracked in the following ways:
When Thuya NYC LLC ships orders, we notify you via email. Please check your inbox for an email from “Thuya NYC.” The tracking information will be included in that email. If you do not receive an email, before contacting us, be sure to check your Spam folder.
You can log into your Thuya NYC LLC professional account using your laptop or a desktop computer, and navigate to My Orders>View Your Order History. Then, purchaser can click on the view icon for tracking information.
Policy Regarding Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Thuya NYC LLC strives to ensure that purchasers are satisfied with their orders. However, Thuya NYC LLC will accept returns and exchanges of entirely unopened products within twenty-one (21) days of the placement of the original order. Items cannot be returned after this twenty-one (21) day period has passed.
Item(s) are deemed returned when they arrive at Thuya NYC LLC, at 1880 Hylan Boulevard, Suite 2R-13, Staten Island, New York 10305. It is purchaser’s responsibility to ensure proper tracking as to the arrival of the item(s). If no such tracking information is provided, and Thuya NYC LLC deems that the item(s) were received after twenty-one (21) days, then purchaser releases Thuya NYC LLC entirely as to Thuya NYC LLC’s decision to not issue refunds or honor exchanges.
Upon receipt of the item by Thuya NYC LLC, purchaser will be given Thuya NYC LLC credit. All exchanges are limited in value to the value of this credit, less shipping fees and costs, as further described below.
Purchaser will be required to pay all fees and costs associated with return shipping, and those fees and costs will be deducted from the funds credited to purchaser upon receipt of the item by Thuya NYC LLC, as noted above.
